About Urban Eyes Vision Care & North Denver's Eye Doctor - Dr. Alpa A. Patel, O.D.

Our mission is to provide quality family eye care to the community in a fun and professional atmophere. We are committed to building lifetime relationships with patients by consistently striving to exceed our patients’ expectations while maintaining the highest level of integrity and expertise.

Dr. Alpa A. Patel graduated with her Doctor of Optometry from Oregon's Pacific University in 1995. For five years Dr. Patel served the Colorado Optometric Center, a non-profit eye clinic as Low Vision Director. During her tenure she instructed over 100 interns from six optometry schools on all aspects of optometry ranging from infant to geriatric eye care. She also enjoyed adjunct professor status with all participating optometry schools across the country.

Dr. Patel has traveled to Mexico, Bosnia, and Sri Lanka (post tsunami) donating her time and treating those in need of vision care. Additionally, Dr. Patel participates in providing low-income DPS children with complete vision exams and glasses through the Pupil Assistance Fund.

Since 1999 Dr. Patel has put her energy into establishing her own practice Urban Eyes Vision Care, P.C. and looks forward to serving all of your eye care needs.
